I want to be able to grow my own vanilla beans at home because I know how expensive they are. I don't have much experience in growing plants, but I have grown things before. I know how sensitive to climate the plant is but I don't have a green house.Any tips? I live in the valley in California.|||In a nutshell:
Unless you are an experienced orchid grower with a greenhouse with lots of room, no. They really are a tropical orchid and a large vining one at that. You can get cuttings for the plant cheaply on ebay, but it's just not worth the the time and effort. I think you're talking about the California FAIR plan, and ANY insurance agent licensed to sell property insurance in your state, can give you a quote.

We are visiting Disneyland and in a couple of weeks. We want to purchase the tickets and book the daily tours beforehand, for 5 day Disneyland park hopper pass, Universal Studios deluxe front of the line tour and San Diego Zoo tour.
What is the best way of doing it. Which website or tour company have the best California Theme Park Discounts and Deals?

San Diego Zoo: The tickets are pretty cheap if you live in SD buy the membership I have it and I love it is afordable and we get discounts on food and shops.
Disneyland: If you are a SoCal resident GO TO ALBERTSONS!!! The deal is go to one park each day for 2,3,5 or 7 days. I think that is a terrible deal however you can get coupons and deals on the hotels at Albertsons (Entertainment Books always have good deals too.)

I live in Saskatchewan, Canada, and was considering requesting a transfer from my work at UPS in Saskatchewan to California.
However, I am not aware of the current economic conditions in California. In Saskatchewan they are very good right now, with very few effects from the recession.
