Is it lawful for private California school legally dictate, to a single family, whom a person can and can not talk to via e-mail, as well as the subject matter?
Moreover, can the private school legally request or demand a parents' signature, on a letter outlining their e-mail criteria?
Finally, is it permissible or legal to utilize a child's enrollment as leverage to obtain the parents' signature?|||Yes, yes and yes.
The key word is 'Private'. they can do just about anything they want. If the parent doesn't like it, they can take their kid elsewhere.|||If they are truely a private entity and recieve no government funding, they can do as they want. Ethics clauses are perfectly legal in contracts.
