california: I live in Saskatchewan, Canada, and was considering requesting a transfer from my work at UPS in Saskatchewan to California. However, I am not aware of the current economic conditions in California. In Saskatchewan they are very good right now, with very few effects from the recession. So, is California an okay place to move to right now then?|||By normal non-governmental accounting standards, the state is insolvent.|||California is on life support - and they have only themselves to blame! If you like high taxes, high prices, and having the tax dollar you worked hard for going to support folks who are less work oriented than you are, come on down. If you are Gay, come on down; California loves you. You won't even need to legally immigrate: California loves illegals.
