I found a California king snake in my front yard and i have know idea how to take care of it or how to feed it.|||Hi!
my brother has a california king snake...its like 14 years old! like most snakes they don't require too much maintenance... you have to clean the cage when its gets messy... change the water...and you feed it depending on how big you want it to get. If you want a large snake feed it every week, if not then feed it every other week. What you feed it also depends on its size... if its not too big you feed it pinkys(baby mice) if its a little older than u feed it regular mice. goodluck!|||I would write it out for you but her you go some care sheets for you help these help

try these sites. especially the first one. they helped me a lot with mine.
Make sure you have a good tank. They are great escape artists!!!|||if it is native release it|||a wild snake will stress out and probably die. you can get one in a pet shop. its best to let that one go. kings or corn snakes do make good first time pet snakes. you should get a book on them. and it will tell you all you need to know. also in pet stores.
