I am a students planning to attend UC Davis this Fall. I just found out that all California Universities require students to have health insurance. What is the cheapest insurance out there?|||When I attended UC there was a student health center and I didnt have to buy outside insurance.

You can be covered under your parents insurance until age 26. They must request that with their insurer. That is the cheapest thing to do. You dont have to be a full time student or a student at all. Students do not get special rates.

If your parents have no insurance, you might try Kaiser. Otherwise you can call an independent insurance agent and ask for the least expensive policy.|||The cheapest is to get health insurance through the school. The California universities have a student health insurance plan. You can get a waiver out of it if you are covered by your parents' insurance.
