I have this political science professor who is just out there. I've had many political science professors (it's my major), and all of them were non-partisan and professional. Not this guy. I won't say whether b
he is on the left or right because I know it will affect the answers.

This guy is so partisan that the subject matter is intetpreted a certain way and it's downright distracting.

Please no anti-liberal statements about California. Bias in the classroom is unacceptable whether it's liberal or conservative bias.|||No, there's no rule against it. Professors, especially those with tenure, can teach whatever they want. If it was offensive (and not just to people who don't think the same way, but literally going out of his way to offend and degrade students) then you could complain, but you're probably not going to get anywhere if that's not the case.|||No, it's not illegal or prohibited. Sometimes there might sorta be policies at the college, but they aren't adhered to. You will find enormous bias in university classrooms, the more elite the college, the more bias. Geez, even in the private high schools, the more rigorous and prestigious the school, the more bias. (And it's not necessarily liberal, but more often then not.) I think it's because the more prestigious the college / high school, the more important the professor thinks s/he is, so their opinions must be too important to keep to themselves. I do think it's a distraction if the teacher shows too much bias, but I also know it isn't going to change.
