california: I'm moving to Georgia soon from California soon, but I've lived in California forever, and people keep saying that the east coast is so different from the west coast, so what really is the difference?|||California is very liberal, Georgia is very conservative. I would do anything to get away from the south to the WC!|||People in the South are very friendly, and not as materialistic and shallow as Californians. To Casey, Georgia is on the east COAST the entire eastern side of Georgia is beach, and there are even islands that people live on there! Look at a map before you bad mouth such a beautiful state, moron!|||i have lived in georgia for almost 2 years. i really liked it. there is some coastline, not much though. it is above florida, so not too far from a good vacation. i lived near savannah, it is the second largest city in georgia. there is a river walk there as well as the ocean. georgia is full of trees, but it looks really nice. i really miss having all of the trees. i have never been to california, but georgia really is not a bad place to live.|||first off, whoever said it snows here is wrong. i've never seen real snow most of it is conservative. >.< lots of gangs we're not the east, we're the south(say east and you'll shot) clayton county stays on the news(dnno where you're moving to, but yeah, blah) what part? cause some is REALLY urban, like atlanta is, and some is very rural. diverse as far far as population goes, mainly black, higher class whites, and lots of mexicans, with huge asian families, but only a few of them, but huge families nonetheless sorry if hat part sounded racist, ti's the way things are though it kinda sucks here honestly...|||in the winter it snows in georgia. There is no beach. Depending on where in georgia you are moving it may be kind of far from malls. Its mostly a country state. There are hicks and rednecks. But other than that it is mostly the same.
