I think california should become a right to work state. What do you think?|||No one should be forced to pay anybody to be able to work.|||No one should be forced to join a union in order to work. Therefore I think all states should be right to work states.

Nancy right to work does not have anything to do with minimum wage it means the ability to work without having to join a union. Minimum wage is a federal law states may make it higher but no state can make it lower.|||For the rest of you that have no idea what the question means...a "right to work" state is one that does not have a minimum wage...you have the "right to work" at any wage. Meaning the employer has the right to determine a BELOW MINIMUM WAGE pay for a job and you get the right to work for slave wages. Yup, I can see how that is really going to improve the economy and job market.|||Of course it should. What you have now is not freedom, it is forced association, and it won't change as long as liberals control the state.

<added> I wonder if Solja B (below) realizes what he has just admitted to with respect to unions.|||You asked this question like an hour or tw ago...

Oh, I see th equestion got deleted. It's up to the citizens of California. But if I were in Cali, I'd vote for a right to work state, like we have here in Texas|||Yes. If they did that, so many of their companies would not be moving to Texas.

Why do you think the Texas governor spends time daily calling companies in California and asking them why are you still there?|||I dare anyone to go into a Union Shop, and decide not to join the union. Somehow I do not see a non-union employee lasting that long.|||It is an at will state. Research before asking.|||Yes.. all of America should become a right to fire country.|||I thought it was.|||Yes...if they want to get out of their huge ditch.
