california: my family and i & a friend are planning on driving from boston mass to california .. has any body every done this before & if so how long did it take .. casual breaks and stops .. also about how much in gas does it cost? any other information will be great -- any must sees? - thanks in advance -lisa|||I dont know about the time it would take, but in California gas is about 40 cents more per gallon, so fill up before you get there. And the gas stations are priced way difrent, up to a 30 cent variance between stations on the same block, so look around. Also when you are there and if you plan on buying gas on a credit or debit card a 45 cent sure charge will be applied.|||oom have fun it will take u like 2 or 3 or more weeks u wanna kill yr self and its boring|||trust me! it doesnt matter how long it takes to get there CALI IS SO BEAUTIFUL! u will have so much fun!|||it would take about 2-3 weeks and $1000 in gas depending on the vehicle|||well my friends went form ny and they said they drove for 4 days. gas would be ALOT|||i personally havent done this recently ,but thats the problem gas has gone up 3 times the cost when i went,sorry but watching national weather to figure uot what to wear really helps!!!!!!!!!|||That is a long way to drive!|||it takes 2 - 4 days on how many stops u make and the gas is all diff
