throughout Southern California, you will find people who are fans of every NFL team, for example, you will run into a Raiders fan, Cowboys fan, Steelers fan, Patriots fan, Browns fan, Packers fan, Bears fan, 49ers fan, Chargers fan, and on and on. Is it because there is no NFL team in Los Angeles, the L.A. Metropolitan are which includes Orange County, Riverside, Ventura County? or is it because Southern California is full of transplants, people that originated from other states, regions, cities, that they will root and cheer for their old hometown team eventhough they moved to California.|||it's a combination of both transplants and not NFL team in the Nations second largest city and Metropolitan area|||"is it because Southern California is full of transplants, people that originated from other states, regions, cities, that they will root and cheer for their old hometown team eventhough they moved to California."
That is absolutely why. This happens in a lot of transient cities like Atlanta, Miami and Los Angeles. Nothing to worry about really, as long as the Chargers and Raiders have enough fans to sell out their stadiums every week.
Edit: When people grow up in regions that don't have teams, they will always root for the team that they get on TV the most. For many people, that team is the Cowboys because of the national coverage they get despite being good or bad. The Steelers are the same way for people who move there from the Northeast. Outside of that, everyone should root for the team that played where they grew up, unless they are bandwagon fans. To your point, not having an NFL team in that state does also play a huge role.|||Cause so many ppl move to So Cal from diff states and refuse to go with the chargers
And becouse the Chargers have a very weak fan base there is alot of band wagners down in So Cal|||too many transplants|||cause the chargers suck...
