california: I don't think i can get into caltech, which is one of my dream schools. My grades haven't been the highest, and my gpa is about 3.1 so far (I'm a Junior). I want to go to a school in california that is like Caltech. Im torn between doing physics, astronomy or Computer science/programing. What schools are realistic for me? Is it better for me to go to a community college and then try to transfer?|||I am unsure whether Caltech or Stanford will accept a CC transfer. Your only hope is to do very well at CC, and try to transfer to a UC school. But you can only really do that if you are instate.
