california: Me and my family are planning a road trip to california next summer becuase its something ive always wanted to do, plus im really into photography and its a great chance to take pictures, so anyways whats a good place to go in california?|||hollywood baby..........its a great place, alot to see if ur a tourist. im born and raised here so im already bored with it lol. see tapings of shows, go to the grove(many stars can be seen there), go to amusement parks, etc. lots to do.|||go to hollywood and LA. lots of celebs can be seen there! For scenic places to go... If you like the busy & crowded, then i suggest Los Angeles, Santa Cruz, or San Francisco. If you & your family like peaceful & quiet then i suggest Pebble Beach,... their 17-mile drive bring jackets, it gets cold. Report Abuse |||none of these people know anyting Cali has something for everone but you are likely to be dissappointed in Hollywood - there is much more to LA area then hollywood but your likely to find nothing but traffic, fake stars, and minimalls. San Francisco is the solution: - golden gate bridge* - fisherman's wharf - alcatraz* - union square - telegraph hill/coit tower* - lombard st.* - marina district - broadway* - marin headlands* - embarcadero - exploratorium* - golden gate park* - museum of modern art - san francisco zoo* - california academy of sciences - chinatown - japenese tea garden* - the presidio* * excellent for photography|||San Francisco...it's a freaken tourist haven...if you like pics...try golden gate park in the morning where the fog covers up all of the bridge except the peaks. There's modern skyscraper and classic houses...they have that roman structure that sean connery got arrested in "the rock"...and if you're a photographer of people, there is no better place that has a better blend of race, class, social demograph.|||There are lots of good places to go in California. It all depends on where in CA you are going. In my neck of the woods - there are lots of rivers and lakes and beautiful Mt. Shasta. We are not near the ocean. But if you like small towns and forrest and trees, come to the Northern most part of CA. If you want big city fun try San Francisco - Bay Area.|||Drive the Pacific Coast Highway either from Monterey down to LA/Santa Monica or vice versa. It's a fantastic trip, especially for photography.|||The northern California Coast from Monterey Bay up is just breath taking.|||Sorry, can't give you any places... Apparently, nothing has amused me yet.
