If not a program, do they use a particular website? I live in Fremont, California, if that make a difference. If you are an ex teacher, or have knowledge of how high schools record and submit transcripts, please let me know any information you have regarding them.

teachers will use the websites to submit grades
and on the website you can even view your student info, current transcript, grades, tardies, absences, and even fees you've yet to pay
but each school has a records office where you can get a paper version of the transcript
each school can also send official transcripts via online
