california: Is a driver license required to drive in a parking lot or other private property? Or is it only required on public streets and public areas? I can imagine this varying by jurisdiction, so in particular, I'm interested in California, but if anyone has definitive information for other states, that'd be of interest to me as well. Please back up your response with some sort of reference. Thank you.|||public access parking lot (Kmart, Targets, etc.) is fair game for cops and you are required a license. Private property (you house) parking lot is your own and you can do what you want. Good Luck...
