My fiance and I are planning to visit California for our honeymoon. We would really love to do things like ride a motorcycle on the route 1, get on a show like The Price is Right, see some historic landmarks, and possibly see some movie stars. Where else do you suggest we visit? And which California airport is the cheapest to fly into?|||If you want historic landmarks, beautiful places to ride a motorcycle, and a romantic honeymoon, I have a suggestion:

Visit the California Gold Country - you could start out in San Francisco (where the 49ers often started), follow along the Sacramento River to Old Sacramento & Sutter's Fort, then go on up to Coloma where Sutter's man, James Marshall first discovered gold in 1848.

From there you can follow Highway 49 through the Sierra Nevada foothills in either direction to visit other towns, State parks, and sights that were important during Gold Rush days. (See http://www.discovernortherncalifornia.co鈥?/a> for some ideas)

It would be a beautiful trip to take if you're riding a motorcycle or driving a convertible, as I do!

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding & have a "Happily Ever After"!|||May I suggest Santa Monica, California? With sunny days all year-around, beach at your fingertips and a quick drive to Los Angeles, Santa Monica is the ultimate destination for honeymooners. Options for Entertainment are limitless here, from fine dining to sizzling nightlife to celebrity spotting. Bayside District & Third Street Promenade is a place to see and be seen, featuring movie theaters, fine dining establishments, bars and nightclubs and intriguing street performances. Hollywood Walk of Fame is several miles away so are the other popular LA attractions. May I also suggest Holiday Inn Santa Monica if you have not booked your hotel yet? This property has been just renovated and is near downtown Santa Monica across form the beach. The staff is extremely accommodating and the concierge will give you the best tips on the area's attractions.

Have a terrific time! And ... congratulations!
