A new question on this year's California tax return. They want to know if the taxpayer has bought anything from another state over the internet or the phone, etc. during the last year. How are they going to find out if a person had bought anything since no social security number was given and tracked, and how are they going to tax on the e-commerce? Wasn't it ruled that interstate e-commerce taxes were sanctioned in a federal court some years ago?|||i think you are just supposed to be honest, they have no way of actually knowing, although they are working on it, so it wont be long
